Four days ago, I quietly launched my sci-fi novel Icarus into the world.
Today, I discovered that not one, but two people — both from Australia — found it. Not just stumbled upon it, but chose to read it. One even previewed the first few pages before deciding it was worth the purchase.

And that… that means more than I ever expected.
This project was never about sales or success in the commercial sense. It was about sharing a story I’ve carried for years — a world built from imagination, research, emotion, and a lot of persistence. And now that world has begun to reach others. Real readers and real curiosity.
In a time when attention is fleeting and content is everywhere, the idea that someone gave a few hours of their life to explore Icarus is a deep honor. I’m humbled, grateful, and quietly over the moon.
This is just the beginning — and that beginning already feels meaningful.
Thank you.
